The Company is focused on recovering metals, including copper, gold, and molybdenum from an estimated 250Mt of historic tailings originally deposited in Chañaral Bay and to rehabilitating the environment in the area.
The Company’s current focus is on advancing the project to the point of detailed design and construction and is currently undertaking a Definitive Feasibility Study.
The Company’s investment objective is to create value for shareholders through the development of the Chañaral Bay Copper Project. Copper Bay will effect the rehabilitation of Chañaral Bay by extracting pollutants from the historic tailings using conventional metallurgical processing techniques.
Revenues will be produced from the sale of metals extracted from the sands. The Company will work closely with the local community in Chañaral and endeavour to return the beach to the municipality in a state fit for the development of its tourism industry.
