Infrastructure around the area is very good. The main Pan American highway passes just a few hundred metres away from the beach. Both power and water are already in place in the town. There is also a port and a private landing strip for planes. The project’s close proximity to the sea provides an accessible supply of water required for processing and will also reduce the cost of reclaiming the sands by dredging. The port was constructed in 1960 and will facilitate the importing of required consumables as well as exporting of the Company’s finished products. And there is a sulphuric acid terminal nearby to provide a supply of the acid we will need for our processing plant.
