Froth flotation, acid leaching and solvent extraction/electro-winning (‘SX/EW’) are all likely to be employed during the processing stage, all of which are established conventional processing techniques.
The Company anticipates approximately 8,500 tonnes of copper will be recovered annually.
The plant will be located behind the beach towards the middle of the Bay. The sea will supply all the water required for processing and will also reduce the cost of reclaiming the sands by dredging. The port will facilitate the importing and exporting of required consumables and the Company’s products.
